A Quiet RV Park for People Who Are Here to Work
Most RV parks are built for vacationers. McBee RV Park is built for people who need a clean, affordable place to park for a few weeks or a few months while they work in the area. If you are a contractor, a traveling nurse, a lineman, or a crew member on a job in the Pee Dee, here is what makes the park a good fit.
Close to the jobs
McBee sits in the middle of several steady sources of contract work. Hartsville and the Robinson plant are about 20 minutes away, which matters during refueling outages when hundreds of temporary workers need somewhere to stay. Darlington and the raceway are roughly 30 minutes out, and race weeks bring their own wave of crews and vendors. Cheraw is about 25 minutes north, and Camden is around 40 minutes southwest. McLeod Farms is one mile down the road for seasonal agricultural work.
WiFi that actually works
Every site includes WiFi, and we treat it as a utility rather than an afterthought. If your job requires evening paperwork, video calls with the home office, or just streaming something to wind down, you will not be fighting for a signal.
Full hookups and a flat monthly rate
Water, sewer, electric, and WiFi are all included in our weekly and monthly rates. There is no separate meter and no surprise bill at the end of the month. Our monthly rate comes out to about $21 per night, which is far less than a hotel or an extended-stay motel in Hartsville or Florence.
The practical things
There is an on-site laundry house, so you do not have to find a laundromat after a 12-hour shift. There is a fenced dog park if you travel with a dog. The park is quiet, the sites are level, and the owners live nearby and handle maintenance themselves.
Easy in, easy out
The park is just off the main road with room to maneuver a larger rig or a truck with a trailer. You can get to work and back without driving through town.
If you have a crew that needs multiple sites, call or text 843-951-9311 and we will work out the details before you arrive.
